1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the FreeRide Tracker application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
FreeRide Tracker is a tool designed to help users manually track fitness data from exercise equipment via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Apple Health integration. The App is provided “as is” and is currently in a development/testing phase.
3. Privacy & Data Ownership
- On-Device Processing: You acknowledge that all data processing, including OCR and metrics extraction, happens locally on your device.
- Data Storage: Your data is stored on your device and your personal iCloud account. We (the developers) do not have access to your workout history or photos.
- Third-Party Services: If you choose to connect to Apple Health or Fitbit, you are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those respective services.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you save.
- You agree not to use the App while actively exercising in a way that creates a safety hazard (e.g., trying to photograph the screen while pedaling at high speeds).
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the OCR will be 100% accurate for every equipment type or lighting condition. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from app updates or hardware failure.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of FreeRide Tracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the App.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
