Getting help -- if you are having problems setting up WebCalendar

  1. First, check the installation instructions. Look for the file "WebCalendar-SysAdmin.html" in the "docs" directory where you unzipped the WebCalendar package. (You can also find an online copy of the document here.)
  2. If your question is not answered there, the next step is the WebCalendar FAQ.
  3. Next, see if your question is addressed in the WebCalendar Wiki.
  4. If you think you have found a bug in WebCalendar, please scan the list of open bugs listed on SourceForge.
  5. If you still don't have an answer, then try posting a message to the Help/Troubleshooting forum on SourceForge. You do not need to have a SourceForge account to post a message.
  6. Finally, if you know you have found a WebCalendar bug that is not listed as "open" on SourceForge, you can submit a bug report. You will need a SourceForge account to do this. (SourceForge accounts are free.)

Keeping current -- if you want to know what's new with WebCalendar

  • You can subscribe to the webcalendar-announce mailing list to receive important WebCalendar news and updates via email. This is a low-traffic mailing list with perhaps one email sent every month or two. In the event that security vulnerabilities are found in WebCalendar, this mailing list will be used to distribute information about the problem and how to fix it. Anyone who installs WebCalendar on a public server is strongly encouraged to subscribe to this list.
  • Check SourceForge for WebCalendar news updates. (available in RSS)
  • WebCalendar development is often discussed on the Open Discussion forum hosted on SourceForge.
